Mallorca ist eine Insel die zur Gruppe der balearischen Inseln gehört. Die Insel liegt dabei im westlichen Mittelmeer und gehört zu Spanien. Mit etwa 862.000 Einwohnern ist Mallorca die grösste Insel der balearischen Gruppe. Ganz in der nähe von Mallorca liegen die vier Inseln Menorca, Ibiza, Formentera und Cabrera. Diese vier Inseln gehören ebenfalls zur Gruppe der balearischen Inseln.
